Drink half and halfs and eat nachos on the patio while you watch the Lubbock "scenery" walk by.

There is a good gun store on 34th (I think) east of University on the south side yellow sign that says gun shop.

Triple J is pretty good for dinner.

            It's summer...scenery is sparse.

There are establishments where women walk around topless and request dollar bills, but I would highly encourage you to stay far, far away.

I'd hit the Chaparral racing museum.

EDIT: It's the Permian Basin Petroleum museum.

Lived there for a year. Eat at the "Tech Cafe" It has nothing to do with TTU, but it's a good little restaurant.

Maybe it's because I live in Midland and there is no scenery to speak of, but I was in lubbock two weeks ago and there was plenty to look at.

I've been told I'm biased when it comes to that. Good scenary for me is seeing a hot girl, turning about 90 degrees to tell your buddy and falling in love two more times before you complete the 1/4 turn.

You could always go north on University to hwy 289 and go east for as far as you can go.
