I was cruising a classified and seen a raffle someone was putting on for a car. If they sold all the tickets it would have equaled 200k. It got me thinking, is it legal in texas for somebody to put on a raffle, that is not for charity/particular cause ?

conducted by a for profit business
conducted by a charity that does not qualify
