No kill shelters in the metroplex?

I have a friend who can no longer take care of her dog Disco which is a mutt and needs to give her up. She just can't find anyone on craigslist that will take a free dog and not sure which shelters in the area are no-kill.

If anyone is interested though it's a mutt. She was born October 1st 2010, has no shots and hasn't been spayed. She's kennel trained and very very very sweet. Not a mean bone in her body.

You can take that excuse however you want to. I'm just helping out a friend, I myself would like to see the dog go to a good home and I've already got two of my own.
