That link is to NESN - New England Sports Network

They'd probably be more on point if he was running down the field. There are a handful of results on google showing this story to be false as of right now.

Here is the story I saw last week where Oprah said she wanted to interview him - http://www.washingtonpost.com/lifest...rXH_story.html

I would think her people have tried to get an interview since she said this publicly - then someone at the Enquirer took it and ran. It's a slow fake news day they've got to do something.

Does anyone remember if the trial was for Ron Goldman? If they just tried him for Nicole, they could now try him for Ron.

That's why a lot of prosecutors will only try one charge in most multiple homicides. If you can get the death penalty for one, then it makes no sense to hold multiple trials. If the accused gets off on one, you have more chances in reserve.

I like the way you think. But it looks like he was tried on 2 counts of homicide.

I never had any doubt he did it. But the story looks to be fake. The National Enquirer never even posted it and Oprah's people are denying that any confession took place...

"Oh, the perils of trusting the National Enquirer.
A report early on Thursday claimed that O.J. Simpson confessed to an Oprah Winfrey producer that he murdered his ex-wife and would share that confession with Winfrey in a televised interview. However, just hours later, a representative from Winfrey's company, Harpo, has denied the report.
"That's not true," a rep told The Hollywood Reporter.
Several sources, including Fox Nation and the Daily Mail cited the National Enquirer on Thursday, though the Enquirer never posted a story on its website."
"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

Next time, maybe those cops will let the evidence prove the case instead of adding some of their own to try to sweeten the pot.
