Fourth, There were(and still are) several members here that owed me money for detailing(around $6k total between all of them), and they were refusing to return any calls or any types of contact. Some of those have been resolved, but there’s still about $4k left unpaid, and it doesn’t look like they are going to pay now.

Yeah, especially with a complete stranger or generally people you don't know (especially from this board) - I'd not feel the least bit insulted by expecting payment. I'd fight up front FULL payment, cause I'd want to be sure of good quality work and be given a chance to point out things - but past that, it's just business.

Oh for sure, and I do that with anything car related or not so I don't expect people to pay up front. Like you said, that's just business.

But I hope the people who haven't paid Nick have read his posts and really feel great about themselves.

back on the old site i was a lurker, and i only know Jose so i never really posted much... when i saw he did detailing i was thinking of PMing him cause the front of my car has a major case of the bug shits..... and i think color sanding/polishing is my only option next to having it repainted.
