I am now an Automotive Service manager for a large shop in Mansfield!

I lost my job in the oilfield about 5-6 weeks ago and I was pretty upset. I had always thought I would retire in the oilfield but other plans took place. I took a job 4 weeks ago as a mobile heavy duty fleet service mechanic and I wasnt real happy with it but it paid the bills. I put in for an automotive service manager position at an expanding body shop in Mansfield called Collision Specialist of Texas. They have such a high volume of work that their going to add 8-10 mechanic bays and needed someone experienced with automotive and fleet service. I start Monday and Im extremely excited about it.
I thought some of you would like to know and I thinks it's always good to hear positive things happening in board members lives,

Thanks a lot guys. You know Ill always take care of fellow board members but Ill have to figure out what kind of deals I can work out with board members.
I honestly know that I only got this position by the grace of God. Iv never had any problems getting an interview or a job and after I got fired from the oilfield I was having a lot of trouble even getting an interview for some reason. You would think any double ASE master certified mechanic would at least get an interview but people werent calling me back or even responding to my applications. I found an openin at UTI for an instructor positon and Iv always wanted to work there but God had other plans. I was upset that I didnt get the UTI job but I figure it jst wasnt meant to be. My wife actually found the ad on c-list for me and it was about a month old so I said what the heck and applied. The owner called me that morning and setup an interview for Tue morning. I was amazed that he spent 3 1/2 hours talking to me, showing me his shop and introducing me to the other managers. He called me the next morning and told me I had the job. I know we've all heard the antage "God works in mysterious ways" and I know this is one of those cases.
I want to become an advertiser on here for the company and plan on being a paid advertiser. I know the board could use more good body shops and I think Iv gotten a pretty good reputation for good quailty work so I think board memebrs would trust bringing in their cars for mechanic work or body work.
