Can't you throw all that kind of stuff in a bin at Best Buy?

I have literally an entire f150 bed worth of stuff. I need somewhere secure, as these radios can't be allowed to sneak back into the public.

There's a place off Pioneer and Collins in Arlington that does. Don't remember the name, but I've taken a ton of stuff there. They'll even give you a few bucks if it isn't out right garbage.

Try them, not sure about not allowing the radios back in public.

Doesn't the state or municipal departments have approved facilities?

problem is most of those places try to sell off the electronics first, and if it has no value, then they "recycle" them

And if destruction is requested, they usually charge an arm and a leg for "certified" information security destruction

We don't throw much away, all goes to customer sites or kept as spares.

these radios are all past end of life and support with our company, and none of the municipalities that use them want any more.
