Not like he would get any treatment in jail anyway. My father is in there and is dieing. Prison quacks are convinced he will die within 4 years with treatment and will die this year with no treatment. They elected to do nothing cause his parole is in 5 so they figured (seriously) why bother?
So there my father is, rotting away in prison with no chance of medical help other then Hospice which is where they send people to die, no treatment just pain management.
He has never been arrested for anything before and was in a fatal car accident where he was at fault.

As a kid I was always confused as to why more homeless people didn't just get themselves put in jail.
