Moving is very stressful. We're on the brink of doing the same - but further - i'll have more details by the end of the week.

Don't stress it! just pack everything and bounce.. it's only a 4 hour drive!

Congrats man. It's a great area. I'm down to 20 days in Texas.

Just stirring up the pot a little to see if he can create an drama or get a rise out of someone would be my guess.

We'll see.. I have yet to have a dollar amount offered and made it pretty clear that I'm not lifting a finger for this move until the deed is done and signed. I'm hoping for a ~30-40% pay raise on top of some other perks. It sure as hell won't be home, but it'll suffice for the short term.

What prompted you to move to Houston? Hopefully, a damn good job. Most of that dirty metropolis is a hell hole.

Home isn't what it used to be either. I'm ready to GTFO of Texas.

4 hours isn't too bad, at least if you forgot something its not a crazy long drive.

I moved 21 hours away, I forgot lots of stuff, I just bought new stuff to replace it lol

                        Good luck though!

No, but we're working on a relocation.

Yeah really stressfull when they give you a week and a half after signing the offer letter. A kiddo does not help either. Aww well they are paying for the entire relocation and a 5,000 sign on bonus to cover my deposits.
