yea its pretty blatant around here, with Osiris seemingly being the worst offender. Closing threads when no "rules" were broken, and editing posts is fucking LAME. I thought the site moved over here to avoid over moderation, and it seems like its worse than before. Then any time you bring it up people get butt hurt like its a personal attack.

It is no where near close to the level of moderation in Canada. Seriously, dude? Threads were locked deleted all the fricken time over there. I would say this is like a Mexican prison. No guards are around, but the inmates keep each other in line.

100% serious, and i'm not the only person that feels that way. There are SEVERAL threads that get closed for no apparent reason other than somebody deciding that its stupid. Meanwhile leaving threads that surpass the "stupid threads" in stupidity unlocked. Clean up spam, ban people for saying nigge....r etc, but locking threads for no reason is horseshit. Like i said before, i thought the whole reason for moving over here was to avoid being over moderated, but in a short amount of time its become the same as it was/was going to become.

I guess I have a different outlook on everything recently since a bunch of personal shit changed, but I really just don't care what people do anymore. I'm just going to keep doing whatever makes me happy and try to ignore everything else. Can't please everyone. That and I don't see a point in trying to please everyone, maybe a select few.

I don't know about more moderation...but it's BS moderation. Mods enforce some stuff, while promoting other stuff. It depends completely on the person that is being affected, not the "crime" being committed. Mods also seem to use the ban stick to promote their own agenda. Not too long ago Rick Modena was gay bashing mustangguy while threatening to ban him for racist tones he derived from some random shit...not what I like to see in a mod. I do not agree with the way pappapeppers thread was stickied and revived, but taking down the other thread was definitely Osiris protecting his own. There is absolutely no other way for him to spin that.

That being said...I still enjoy the site for the most part and will continue to visit. I do not care if there is more or less moderation, just consitent and fair moderation.

I agree. Not sure why this group of mods was chosen...other than they campaigned for the spot.
