Ok everyome, here is a fictional story. Once upon a time, a member posted about his vehicle taking a beating from the recent storms while at DFW airport and was looking for help. I gave him my buddy's contact info and gave my buddy a heads up.

Board member was wanting a supplemental done on the claim. The goal, to take the larger sum and put it towards his loan and trade the car in. Allegedly, there was enticement to do this. When it was made clear that was not going to happen. Then board member agreed to the repairs. Then after knowing that his insurance agreed to more for the repairs....he wanted his car back.

Basically, he took advantage if my friends goodwill and made me look like an asshole. All while making out with around six grand. No names but I'm sure its easy enough to see who posted a thread about hail damage recently.

So I get back from Vegas today to find my car at DFW got pounded by the hail. Fuck. No broken glass but little dents all over.

Anyone have a hail damage hook up? I have no idea what hail damage even costs but I called Geico and they said I have to pay my deductible first, which is $1000 bucks. Id rather not have to pay that.

Their other option was to not get the car fixed, and that would give me a check for $1000 that would go towards the lien on the car. That way I wouldnt get it fixed but was considering trading it in anyway.
