So what happened? Was there an estimate done for $xxxx, and then a supplement was written? Was any of the repair work done? Sounds to me like someone had an original estimate done, wasn't happy with the amount, and then offered a kickback to the shop to inflate the supplement.. and then take all of the money and apply it to the lien without any of the repairs being done.

What is very telling to me, is that you wouldn't call him out by name, if he straight up wronged another board member it would be out in post #1. There are apparently a few opinions about what would have been "right" and what actually happened didn't conform to at least one of those opinions.
