Try the Purple Onion and Mama's Daughters Diner on Irving Blvd near Turtle Creek. Bucks Prime on Market Center Blvd and Dickey's BBQ on Irving Blvd near Mockingbird LN.
There's also Pappy's Old Fashon Burgers on Mockingbird near Elmbrook Dr...there's other fast food places (Jimmy John's, IHOP, Quiznos) in that same area. There's Grandpa Tony's Mex food on Mockingbird near Cedar Springs road.
There's tons of good places to eat around your area. You can also drive up Inwood and take a right on Lemmon and there are tons of good food joints over there.

Sushi Time on mockingbird has 2 rolls for 10 bucks. Get the spicey tuna and thank me later.
Also, "La Hechezaria" (I'm sure I misspelled that) on Maple and Inwood just behind the tire shop has the best tortas you've ever crammed in your face.
I can also vouch for all those places 70Mach1 listed as being great places with the exception of Grand Pa Tony's. That place is god effing awefull.
Near the Dickey's on Irving there is a little strip shopping center with a place called Jenny's thats kinda home cooking style and another place called Wing Shack. Both are excellent choices with great prices.
If anyone wants the best breakfast tacos ever try Jack's in the design district. Its on that island where market central and irving meet to make riverfront. Badass little taquaria in there.
I've worked in this area for 5+ yearsLast edited by Torinoman; 06-22-2011, 11:28 AM.1971 Ford Torino - Time to go bigger and better.
