Yeah, a 3 year old can have fun just about anywhere. The draw of a place like Schlitterban is the bigger rides that you don't see at local parks, which she can't ride.

SeaWorld is on the list of places to visit this summer as well. This kid just loves the water so we're looking some place new to take her to play in the water and cool off.


Yeah, she will be three the end of August already. It's crazy how fast time flys and how fast kids grow. So much fun to watch her change and develop into the lil character she's turning into.

Take her to Hawaiian Falls in a vehicle that doesn't have 20"+ rims, and let her have a ball. At her age she honestly won't know the difference, it's local, and she'll still feel special.

I'll tell you, I miss my friends and all, but the biggest sacrifice coming out here, was knowing that I wouldn't be there to watch my godson and his brother and sister grow up. They range from 1yr to 6yrs in age, and they are different kids every time I see them now. I don't mean to derail, but I hear you about watching her grow and change.

For anyone interested, you can go to the Help Kiosk at Simon Malls and buy Schlitterbahn tickets while they're still available. You buy a pair for $80 and you get a $25 Simon gift card, a cooler bag, cup and some coupons. Normal park admission is $43, I think, so that's a pretty decent discount (~$30).

Crazy enough, the car we use to transport the baby around in is a SRT8 and yes.. it had chrome 20 inch wheels. HF's may not be the best idea. lol

At that age, a waterpark is a waterpark. You might as well just go to San Antonio and take her to Sea World. They have a waterpark plus all of the other attractions.
