Schlitterbahn

Emma's 3rd birthday is coming up in August and I was thinking of taking her to Schlitterbahn. We've never been there before, I was hoping to get some good advice from people who have been there before. I just signed up for the email list in hopes to get some more information and a discounted rate.

Is this a good park for a three year old?
Is there alot of stuff there that she will be able to do?
How is the hotel?

Any other advice/opinions?

As a teenager I went 4-5 times and it was a BLAST. I have no clue what it would be like for a 3 year old though. I hear it's a great place to take kids of all ages. Why not just take her to great wolf lodge where they have 3 nights for the price of 2 right now?

She's been there a few times already, thought we would try a new place, something special for her birthday.

I have never taken my kids there but I used to go alot when I lived in San Antonio as a teen and I dont remember many, if any "kiddy rides". I personally dont think it would be well suited for a kid that little.

I have never been but can get discounted tickets at work. PM me and when I go back I will tell ya how much they are.

We went to the one in New Braunfels, TX the last two years. We go for two days since the park is so big. But, I would agree with Larson theres not much a 3 year old can do aside from play in the small pool and water tower. Also, she might be able to float on a tube with you guys as they have tubes with net bottoms.

If you stay in one of the cottages there at the park, you get free admission to the park.

Most of the onsite places have a three day stay minimum now. I went last week. It would be a headache to take a 3 year old there. There really isn't anything for a small child to do there. In the old park, there is a tiny tiny area next to the lagoon behind the swim up bar for toddlers. That is it. I wold say a minimum of 5-6 years of age. Minimum..
