Last night while exiting 35 at Ovilla Rd I saw a small deer in the middle of the service road which sprung into the brush as I approached it on my bike. Having lived in NW Austin for over a year it was a regular thing to see numerous deer near the freeways at night...but I have NEVER seen one up in this area. Anyone else seen any around here?

I saw 4 deer in a field in Southlake last week. Right off 114 before the Dove rd exit.
A few years ago a 10/12 point ran out into the intersection of hwy26 and what ever that road is in front of The great wolf lodge during moring traffic. Someone got a vid of it and it was on the news.

I have seen dead at that area: buck, does, hogs and turkey. pretty cool they're still around. I got real close to 6 deer: 4 does 2 small bucks at 26 and bass pro drive.
