Take cash to the car pound. They use to only accept cash when I went there years ago. What a dump. Come lunchtime,. if you are in line, down come the windows on the tellers counter, they go to lunch and you have to wait in line until they get their lunch over with. Hope it has changed by now. Not a pleasant place to go to. Plenty of tow drivers waiting around to take your cash for a tow!

Club is useless. They just cut the steering wheel.

The removable steering wheel is a good option, but the thieves could always steer with a pair of pliers.

I saw plans online a few years ago for a magnetic ignition relay. You basically swiped the magnet over the dash or where ever the switch was mounted and it broke the circuit making it impossible to crank normally, and there was no button or anything to signal that their was a switch. Then when you got back in and swiped the magnet it reset the switch and you were back in business. You could hide the switch behind any panel, didn't have to be on the dash.

Good deal man. I'm glad that worked out for you. I also had no idea factory 20's were so pricey.

Removable steering wheel, remove fuel pump relay, install pedal lock, install wheel boot, pitbull sleeping in the drivers seat. I think I covered everything required to keep your Cheby "safe".

My dad had a set up like that on his dually, I cant remember where he got the kit. I remember having to swipe this little magnetic pad by the radio and it would beep but if you didn't have the pad it would start. I think it was tied to the pcm some how cause it would crank but wouldn't pulse the injectors or spark. It was super slick and no one would know it was there.

You obviously have little knowledge about insurance.

We had a work truck stolen about 2 years ago with the key in the ignition, insurance still paid it off.
