  • Justifying a purchase

So there's this 255pc craftsman set at sears(I know you big ballers think it's a pos brand) and I'm thinking about buying it. It's a pretty damn good price but I really don't need it. I like it cause it's comes with this nifty tool box that will keep all tools organized. But I have a sweet little mechanic set at home....scattered all over the place. You guys ever find yourself in these little predicaments?

If you already have a set, what is the point in buying another?

      Go buy your kids something.

The set is 150 and I was planning on treating myself for fathers day. They're just so shinny and new. Tools to me are like jewels to broads

I forgot about fathers day. If that is your gift then so be it. Just make sure the wife hasn't already bought it already.

i bought the same kit... it's great for when my 11 year old works on his stang, i can always open it up and see whats missing. then he gets to spend the rest of his time looking for it, or he gets to buy the replacement

Nothing wrong with having duplicates and triplicates - can come in handy quite often.
