Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days. ~CD

I don't think I could because if a person doesn't believe in something with plain, easy to understand evidence in front of them, why would they believe something else with easy to understand evidence, like how NOT to screw up an economy.

Depends on what you choose to subscribe to, Faith or Science. One precludes the other. So, the answer is contained within the question.

No, because if that's the case he will Be the person to overlook evidence and make a wrong decisions based on nothing but an opinion.

Its 2011 and the world ends in 1 year....so why at this point does it really matter where we came from? We're all gonna end up in the same place.......and damn its gonna be crowded.

Only semantically. In the real world, most "faith" is supported by at least some evidence and "science" has been proven wrong by new science time and time again because its theories necessarily rely on some amount of faith.

Obama believes in evolution, so the opinions quoted above are thus refuted by plain, easy to understand evidence.

Right. No doubt we evolve and adapt, but "Evolution" is just a theory as well as Creation. I chose to believe in Creation.

Your choice to believe in either means you have a belief in something (sorry to burst your bubble, racrguy).

If anyone REALLY wants to hear both sides, instead of just going off of what you heard in public school, I would suggest taking a trip to Glen Rose after hitting up the museum down town.

Creation Evidence Museum of Texas located in Glen Rose Texas. See Dinosaur fossils, Noah's Ark, the Creation Model and evidences supporting an inteligient creation as opposed to the evolutionary theory.

That is, if you're serious about hearing both sides.

Recent proof evolution is provable, and certain.

Is it possible to disprove evolution, absolutely. But as of yet, no one has been able to do so.
I don't dispute the general idea of Darwin's theory and I think that for the most part it is correct. It seems obvious in the case of those experiments with bacteria, or observation of variations in a species as observed in the Galapogos, or characteristics of animals like color, size, speed, etc that these things can be explained perfectly well by evolution.
What I was referring to was how it can't readily explain more complicated matters like how differential survival rates based on characteristics and environment could have led to the development of incredibly complex chemical reactions and structures of organs, like the eye for example.
I guess the fact that there may be more to it than just evolution as defined by Darwin doesn't necessarily mean that his theory is not correct. Hell, it's the best anyone has come up with so far.
