Some departments can but usually no. They usually have an extra or 4 chillin in the car, and trunk. For Matt... in his fucking man purse. Tanner... his backpack, shotgun on the driver side, and swat rifle in the back.

It's on my bucket list to be on the good side of a police chase. Went on one ride along with a friend of mine and it was completely quiet. The next day he told me about two calls he received in a row that ended up in intense chases he was involved with to where he boiled the brake fluid.

Yep! That's what usually happens! I did a ride along two weeks ago on a Friday night when all the schools let out. We were all excited because we THOUGHT it was going to be a busy night. Didn't get any bad calls or anything, but Keller did. I believe their was actually a homocide in Keller that night.

Ride along I did with the FWPD was great. A Thursday night:
Pulled over a speeder.
Worked a traffic accident.
Missed an armed robbery (convenience store) by 5 minutes.
Domestic dispute.
Looting at the ToysRUs warehouse garbage bin.
A corpse. Somebody thought a person was stalking/casing an apartment as a car with occupant was parked with engine running all day (this was in winter). Cop gets there before us, she couldn't get the guy to respond, popped the glass. He was dead. Liquor bottles all over the place. Coroner shows up and its determined he probably drank himself to death.

Fastest 8 hours of my life.

I need to do a ride along in Sherman, now.
