The assistant to my regional manager actually called me yesterday to tell me that I was the "on-call" guy on Thanksgiving day. I asked him what else is new.

I troubleshoot/repair remote VSAT sites - 2-way satellite communication. The only customers that would open a trouble ticket on a national holiday are DPS and the oil pipelines. Most customers are considerate enough to wait until the next day to open a trouble ticket.
