STOPPED ACCEPTING AMERICAN TENDER
I did buy an out of state car and drove it until my plates expired, since they cannot bill out of state drivers. This is one way to get around the tolls. Another is to ride a bike and tuck your plate.
I've spent quite a bit of time in central and southern CA, and the only road I ever paid to drive was the 17 mile drive at Pebble Beach, and it was worth it.
So quit paying tolls already, sheople.Comment
