As is natural, you see it as a business. That's your thing, your job (right?). As is also natural, I see it as an event to experience and enjoy. Both have different, and sometimes opposite, degrees of success.

F1 just doesn't have the fan base in the US to create the cash like a taxi cab race.pinto gt with wood trim

A cup race is to the tune of about $7million worth of tv money per event. Then you have title race sponsors, associate sponsors, season ticket holders, walk up ticket buyers, motorhome camping, and all the concessions and merchandise sales, along with a percentage of gross of your midway space rentals.

Damn, ANOTHER blemish on US based F1 races...... This sucks big hairy dingleberry balls! Hopefully the New York event will come to fruition. I was REALLY looking forward to running on a new, VERY HIGH brow track in Texas at some point in the future..... (Was praying CHUMP or Lemons would use the track.)Originally posted by Taya Kyle, American GunThere comes a time when honest debate, serious diplomatic efforts, and logical arguments have been exhausted and only men and women willing to take up arms against evil will suffice to save the freedom of a nation or continent.
