Gonna be home (DFW) for a few days

So with very short notice I am going to be in DFW tomorrow. My wife's Grandmother passed away and my employer is sending me home on an emergency leave to be there for my wife. Flight from Afghanistan to DFW with a day's notice was $1500 plus they are paying me for 2 travel days each way. Not bad for being a employee (was a subcontract) for only a week.

Is it wrong that I am glad to get to see my wife, even given these circumstances?

For those that care I will be home Sunday (tomorrow) until Monday the 20th. We will be doing family stuff until Wed. so a trip to the gun range or maybe out for a beer afterwards if anyone wants to meet up.

Glad you get to come home-sorry it's under those circumstances. We are free next weekend if you want to grab some beers. Also-Thursday in Addison, a bunch of us go to Back 9. Come on out and meet some folks.
