I told Kim, Smith Thompson. $16.95/mo. ADT, Brinks, etc are $30-40/mo. They lock you in to a contract, too. S-T is no contract. Their rate has been the same price for forever. the downside to s-t is you have to purchase the actual system. ADT and Brinks "give" it to you, but really you pay for it in the monthly raping.

ADT is the best imo. Do not go with a no name place, they will suck. Whatever you do DO NOT go with Pinnacle security. They suck huge penis. The mother fuckers glue sensors to the wall n' shit.

Not sure I would pay for a security service. I think if you have one hell of a loud alarm system in the city (not way out in the country) that it will do more good than a service can do you. If you have it so loud the thief can't think, I am pretty sure he will leave.

True, but I have it monitored as much for a fire issue as a break in.

Someone tried to break in yesterday, but the ginormous bulldog handled business & ran them off. However, I'd feel better if she had some backup.

We are about to be at a point where someone will be here at almost all times due to work schedules, but I really would rather have some monitoring for break in & fire protection.

Whatever you do, do not use Hawk Security aka Interface Security, I just called to cancel my account as my 3 year contract was up, well they told me that my contract self renews it self every year unless you send them a letter in writing 15 days before the contract is up stating you want to cancel. What a scam
