Right now I'm in Costa Rica where they still pump the gas for you. Try waiting behind people that have everything checked on their car. They get their oil checked, tires and windows cleaned. Sometimes the wait can be 30 minutes, thank God for my blackberry and DFWM.

So they are 5,500 different in price. I am willing to bet the diesel cost more then 5500 more than the gas truck did brand new. The gas truck has 90k more miles on it to. This was not a good example.

When looking at resale you should look at ROI (Return on investment). You can look at this as % of paid price recovered.
