When looking at resale you should look at ROI (Return on investment). You can look at this as % of paid price recovered.

I pay 30, and thats every 5k. My girlfriends car is 30 for every 10k miles.

Mine is free every 5000 miles after 6 more it will be $20. The wifes is $20 every 5k miles.

Right now I'm in Costa Rica where they still pump the gas for you. Try waiting behind people that have everything checked on their car. They get their oil checked, tires and windows cleaned. Sometimes the wait can be 30 minutes, thank God for my blackberry and DFWM.
