I honestly don't give it that much thought, and I'd be willing to bet most other gas-powered drivers don't either. I pick a pump based on it's location and the side of the car that I need to face the pump and I don't really give a shit if I've slightly inconvenienced someone who may (or may not) pull in 5 minutes from now.

It never really bothered me, until I was filling-up in east Texas a few months ago. There was ONE diesel pump, and sure as shit, a whole pack of motorcycles were parked at it. I believe I waited about 15 minutes before I got to fill-up! Of course they were all hardcore with their vests, patches, do-rags, etc...."The Mavericks" was their MC
