I'm no copper either. But it's my understanding that a bench warrant is only a hold on you. They don't necessarily come looking for you, or kick your door in. it's that if you get arrested, or even stopped by an LEO, they can detain you. I understand the bench warrant only prevents you from bonding out or being released before seeing the judge that issues that warrant. I could be way off base here. But this is the info I was given when Kenny's egg donor has a bench warrant issued for non payment of CS. Then again, she was arrested some 3-4 times and that bench warrant disappeared in to thin air.
