Sean, I wouldn't sweat it. If you saw it, I guarantee your kid saw it, and knows better.

Societal problem, demographic issue or bad parenting?

My opinion, is that good parenting would trump the social pressures and demographics. Teach the child right from wrong, and he/she will see if/when others are being stupid motherfuckers. Let the fucking hoodrats teach your child, and you will get a fucking hoodrat.

My son has lost some of his friends due to their changes (mostly from 12-15), but I notice he distances himself well on his own. It is truely sad to see some of these great kids I coached in Little League turn into shitbags, mostly from their parents' lack of attention.

Some kids are not raised right and are F'ed up for life but I think a lot just get off track during their teens.Last edited by Jimbo; 06-08-2011, 01:24 AM.

It's bad parenting when it comes down to it, but stereotypes exist for a reason. I've said it before on here. I feel horrible for older black people. They've actually dealt with oppression, and their kids and grandkids are fucking up all that they've worked for.
I just heard about this the other day and apparently Bill Cosby has the same opinion.
