I live 6 miles from the office. Any other driving for work puts money in my pocket.
that's reasonable but i'm talking about those peeps that drive 70 miles or more a day for work! i understand mileage reimbursement but still it's gotta be rough on the old wallet

I lease my truck to the company for more than my payments and insurance, then they cover all fuel and maintenance. Since I've got more than 1 vehicle as far as the IRS is concerned the truck is 100% work use.

12 Miles a day! However they are non air conditioned miles so that sucks most days.

I split time between two cars, a truck and a motorcycle. The one I drive the most gets around 20k a year but that involves at least one trip to Galveston and another to New Orleans, probably 10 to Oklahoma, 3-4 to Austin and a couple of dozen to Dallas every year. My commute to work is around 7500 miles a year.

I've put 75,000 on my truck in the last 3 years and 100,000 on my jetta in the last 4. I used to drive 850+ a week, now I love it, I'm 12 miles from home.

Speding $650+ a month in fuel plus all the oil changes and maintenance sucks.

Wife has no car right now, so I drop her off to work in Grapevine, then head on 114 west and exit at inwood and 35, so coming from Frisco thats roughly a 45 mile trip one way. So about 1800 miles a month if I dont drive anywhere else. Which I do.

~1500/mo. 2/3 of what I drive is expensed mileage.

I drive from North Ft Worth to Richardson everyday and it is 52 miles one way. So around 105-110 miles a day in my daily. I get almost 34 mpg so the only thing that sucks is the time I spend on the road everyday.

I think his point is that the fish got low balled, fucked in the catfish asshole and you paid half price. The worst part was the fish explaining to his fish friends why his asshole smelled like redneck
