Ford Edge or Nissan Murano

Ok, I need some debatable content here.

They are basically just mini-vans, right? I mean, seriously. This "crossover vehicle" term was created for my generation that just really doesn't feel like growing up and we sure as shit are not going to drive a minivan.

My Navigator was too gas-guzzly, the roush is just too small when carting kids around, so I'm thinking of added something like this to the fleet. But I REFUSE to drive a damn van!

Ford will be cheaper on parts in the long run. I have a few friends with Edges and they are all happy with them.

The wife has a 2008 Edge with about 56k on it and it's a great vehicle. 265 HP makes that thing scoot.
