i would suggest the euless location... its pretty cheap rent and a good area i lived there for a few years and never had any issues no i lived in a apt and my electric was stupid high though i mean to the point i thought i was paying mine +1's bill.

probably no help, but here in Greenville, i have a 2 bedroom house for $625. the utilities run us about $400 for everything, electric, water, t.v. and internet. and the area is pretty nice too. it's a long way from the Dallas area, but it's cheaper in the surrounding areas.

I'm pretty sure I live somewhat "down the road" from y'all. I've been in my current apartment for a little over a year and never gotten over ~$130 for a 2-bedroom. They're newer (only about 2 or 3 years old), and I even got an apartment that hadn't been lived in. I'll shoot you a PM.
