Las Colinas apartments?

There are places down by the canals, downtown LC and by the tv studios that have really nice places for under that $$$.

Let me try to remember the names of the ones that were in my top 10.

I would say the one I'm in now would be awesome for you, but its right at $935 per month. Then add my dog fees, water, elec, renters ins and so on. I'm easily over $1100 per month. But it is pretty baller, indoor basket ball court, 3pools and a good gym.

I'm looking to save at least $200 a month and when I start getting over $900 a month just in rent I won't be saving as much.

The grand venetian behind chammps/blue fish/keg was nice and had a lot of amenities and a younger crowd.

La Vilita was nice and right on the canal.

Villa miranda was ok, nice amenities and a young crowd, but in a busy area ( place has a freekin movie theater)

Colonial Grand in valley ranch was ok. Older prop. older fixtures and shit, but the price reflects that. Plus they have badass garages, you could prob. fit 3 cars and a bike or two in the one I looked at.

That's definitely a good start, I'll be checking into their floor plans online. Colonial Grand is one I already had on my list, definitely looking into them.

Check out the Mandolin on 360/Glade (& Mid Cities). It's Euless but a quick dash through the airport to Irving/LC and you can get a nice attached garage around your budget. I have lived their two seperate times and really liked it. Super nice apartments, garages, easy commute, etc....

North Irving apartments are a hot bed for vehicle theft/break ins, even and probably more so in the nicer gated communities. Didn't one with a highrise parking garage get totally raided in the past few years? Something like 20 plus cars hit! One night off Hidden Ridge, Dot Heaven, all the apts got hit, gates broken and camera's ripped down.

It's a convenient place to live, great place to own and is getting better. Step Dad was the planning and zoning manager since the early 80's, bro in law works for the police/fire and drives their big command truck!

Colonial Grand was in the high $7xx.xx range with an attached garage, 2 br.

As far as the theft goes, I have never and will never be without my own garage. Bike theft is bike and I love my rockets.

That's the kind of info I'm looking for. I'm trying to stay under $900 on rent, is this possible in the Las Colinas area while still being able to get into a newer or nicer complex?

I pay just over 900/mo for a decent sized one bedroom/one bath, with a 1 car garage.

Its in his budget until he has to pay 2 dollars each way to drive through the airport!
