I bought my bedroom stuff, recliners, coffee table, and end table from Stacy Furniture in Grapevine. It was pricey, but much better quality than places like Rooms to Go or Roomstore, and better selection than just about anywhere. That place is huge.

Keep in mind furniture markup is about 300%. EVERYTHING is negotiable. don't settle paying too much for crap you don't really want. There's too many options out there.

A good family owned business that has been in business since 1951 is Garland Furniture in downtown Garland. I found their prices reasonable and customer service excellent. We have bought several pieces from them. They have a lot to choose from. There are also a couple of other higher end stores on the same block from what I remember.
