  • Going to Reno tomorrow...

Till Saturday. After going to Vegas for the first time a couple of years ago, going to Reno is like going to cleveland now. But I'm sure I'll still have fun and might hit up lake Tahoe to do some fishing. That or maybe for once I can hit a nice jack pot.

Reno was really ghetto the last few times I went. Tahoe is a lot nicer. Of course like you said neither of them compare to Vegas.

Reno is a shit-hole, especially compared to Vegas. It's a pit-stop for us on the way to Lake Tahoe. It could still be pretty cool up in Tahoe.

Yeah it's just too bad I got to spend most of my time in Reno. But I'll be playing golf near Tahoe on friday and hopefully be spending friday night there.

Screw reno. Nothing worth stopping at imo, just continue on to Tahoe.

What course are you playing at out there?

And like everyone here said, spend as little time in Reno as possible and get out to Tahoe.

Edgewood I believe. The only reason I'm staying in Reno so much cause I'm going there for a bowling tournaments. I know I'm a but I'm good at it and can make a decent amount of money.

Beautiful course, Fazio designed I believe. There are several really great courses right around Tahoe; you'll have to post back about how it is.

I'll do that and probably post pics. I've never played high altitudes before. I've played at Disney World which is pretty close to sea level. In Florida there was almost a two club difference. I figured that will be the same up in the mountains. I hope to crush a 400 yard drive.

We went there a few years ago and had a great time. We didn't spend much time in the casinos. We went to the Reno Ballonfest and it was really COOL! Also went to Virginia City and we had a blast. It's a old silver town with lots of cool stuff. For a break from the heat Tahoe is beutiful.

If you get a chance hit up the halfway club in Sparks. (It is on rock or virginia street I always mess it up) It is a hole in the wall italian resturant with awsome Raviolis. I have been eating there since I was in the womb...
