Well, more and more agencies are adopting "no pursuit policies", so more and more people are going to say "fuck it" and run.

my DUI defense only cost me my lawyer's trial fee. I was found not guilty because I obviously was NOT guilty

Then the police show up at your door the next day. Point is your going to get caught, maybe not right then.

Everything you do after the stop will be used for their advantage, better to just shut up and let them try to prove you are guilty instead of just giving them what ever they want to use against you.

but then he'll still get the mandatory license suspension for not blowing, and that suspension is longer than if you do blow.

and the reason they'd rather you take your specimen at the station is cause your BAC peaks one hour AFTER you've stopped drinking. Might wanna think about that.

No its not. It's the same suspension sentence. It's stated clearly on the consent form.they ask you to sign. If you refuse, youre guilty. If you blow, you're guilty. Doesn't matter which one you do, you're going to get your license suspended either way.

Sure, and potentially add intoxicated manslaughter to the list of charges.

I think that was in jest. At least that is how I took it.
