If he did blow into the intoxylizer then he will only lose his DL for 90 days as opposed to not blowing and losing it for 180 days!
He shouldnt have been out driving drunk in the first place, I really dont have any advise or respect other then that. He has a fighting chance if its in Tolerance County (Tarrant)... As long as the Officer did his Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, Walk and Turn, and One Leg Stand semi correctly, your friend will just have to accept his dumbass mistake and move on. Hopefully this is his only DWI on his record; DWI(class B, large fee, jail time is rare, usually gets probation), DWI 2nd(class A, larger fee, jail time, probation, and possible install of interlock), DWI 3rd or more(3rd degree Felony, HUGE fine, big jail time, interlock, rehab, etc)... People's first DWI they dont seem to take very serious in my experiance... Dont get me started on what needs to be done

Seb's high class.
He'll mow your grass.
He'll kick your ass.
And while his kidney stones pass,
He'll piss in a glass!
If he blew, he's going to most likely get convicted. He better just hope he didn't blow over double. That's when they start really sticking it to you. I blew just over the limit on my DWI and all I got was a fine. Sucked, but it could've been worse, and it was a learning experience to say the least. Tell him if he has a decent job, to hold onto it because he's screwed for the next few years as far as getting jobs go.
Nah, I have seen so many 500.00 DWI bonds it is not even funny. One was even in an accident.
If you blow, 90 day susp., you refuse, 180 days. Techinally its ur duty by law to blow under a DWI investigation. WHen you signed for your DL, it said that you would blow if ever stopped and suspected of DWI. Just sayin...
doesn't matter, violation of the 5th amendment. No matter what you sign, you can not be forced to sign over your rights in any circumstance/ contract. you DO NOT have to provide evidence against yourself. What you just said is extortion... i had a good attorney

You started getting all technical with me, I would politely pistol whip you.
My sister had 3 DWIs & didnt do a day in jail. Of course this was all before she was 18 years old too. But it cost her right at $18k to keep her out of jail on all of them considering she got all 3 in 2 years time
