How's your holiday weekend going?

I've been working my ass off on the house all weekend so far. Got more to do today. Hopefully I can get to a stopping point and relax today, maybe fire up the grill. Didn't get my trucks washed. Didn't wet a hook. Fucking chores...

My holiday weekend started innocently enough. The wife, kiddo and I went to Norman, OK for her cousin's son's high school graduation. We went up Thursday afternoon, sat at graduation for a couple hours, then went back to their house.

Got up Friday and hung around for a while then hit the road.

Saturday, went to my dad's shop to work on the truck. Got started working on lowering the rear and managed to get a piece of rust or metal in my eye and had to go to the emergency room. Had a small scratch on my eye ball so now I can't wear my damn contacts for at least 3 days.

The eye is feeling better already though. Good enough that I finished getting the back of the truck dropped 5" yesterday.

Was a damn good time. Don't get many chances to work with and do techniques with 6 degree BB's in a lifetime. Not to mention the great BBQ with team mates and friends that become family. And spent Saturday night with my dad and siblings celebrating me about to be an uncle (and my sister becoming a mom since it's not all about me haha). Life is good, work is good, providing for my family is good, this weekend has just been a great one for all around.


Old repeated joke is old and repeated. Remember you always tell others to get a new joke, come on you can do better than that brotha. I am disappointed with that one, go for the flyin armbar finish and really smack me around.

Hey guys, just thought I would give you guys a lil heads up. Ryron Gracie is going to be at our school for a seminar January 21st (mount focus)and 22nd (guard).

Anyways you are just trying to draw me off-sides as usual along with the passive agressive start of the thread ("certain people in vegas lack of drama") but it's all good. It's funny the hypocritical stances you take like when you came in wiped the floor with me (which we both know happened) saying weight doesn't matter and then posting this weeks ago..

No need to get all postured up on the keyboard. I just find it funny when little guys like yourself talk about fighting when there is no weight divisions is all. It never turns out well for the little guy.

Yep, I sure did name drop (without naming a name, bonus points if anyone can name the crazy brazilian dude in the pic) while leaving out all the other "names" I didn't drop. I went to a bad ass seminar and posted a couple pics in a "one up thread" like Matt did for what looks like Indy if I'm not mistaken. That was the entire point of this thread, was it not? Anyways yeah my BJJ sucks, always has, I only get to train 3-4 times a week with my career, family, and friends getting in the way. Just a casual BJJ'er who does it for fun and for the weight loss (40 lbs now). Heading to Phoenix for work Tuesday evening and will be busy at work so won't have a ton of time to reply and then off to LA for the BJJ Worlds/Mundials for the weekend...(damn name dropping again coming) with my coach and his Coach (Bruno) along with a couple of teammates. So get your shots in and when you get done come drop in and bring a gi for a Saturday if you want, I don't hold a grudge and your "humor" doesn't bother me. But just ease up on picking on the little guys, I'm only in the 215 and under divisions now.

Work query is done for my meeting with the CFO (god damnit name dropped the CFO now...fuck) in the morning, talk to you later.

You heard me, I don't have to explain myself. I have traveled the world training in all the arts. I have fought with the best of them, trained with my blood sweat and tears....... oh shit I forgot I left the beans on in the kitchen!!!!
