locking lugs are just kind of a deterrant. Haven't you seen them removed before? Oversized socket and a hammer.. done.

I think a good portion of them are using stolen cars or stolen license plates to begin with...

yup. Snapon has a kit for loosening "locking lugs" if you dont have the key. All the mechanics that work at tire shops....and any wheel thief has them.

Unless they are crackheads, OEM 20s are pulling about a g now days.
Claim it on your insurance, minus the deductible you will still walk away no money out of pocket.
You will have to have the TPMS reprogrammed, damn near any tire shop should be able to do it....

So do you think the insurance company will cut me a check or will they arrange the purchase? Hopefully they cut me a check for $3500 and let me take care of it.

yea, gonna just file on car insurance and be done with it. Adjuster coming out tomorrow, said would cut a check by EOD at latest.

Only line that caught my attention was when he said, "Ill come out and assess and then submit my replacement valuation of the parts stolen for you to be re-imbursed." That "valuation" better be real world and not hokus pokus bullshit.
