Personally Id look at a new Ford Fiesta... not a chick magnet, but its brand new, hopefully reliable, and great mileage.

TL for sure. My fiance had a 06 before getting here 09 accord and it was a awesome car. No problems with it, but like many women, she doesn't believe you should have a vehicle with over 100k miles, and she was at 96k.

I had a friend with a g35 sedan that started having lots of little problems after 50k miles and he got rid of it for a bmw.

Yes. Mazda Speed6. Test drove one way back in 05 and still want one. Turbo, all wheel drive, and looks good.

Get a 6-speed TL. Honda auto transmissions are questionable especially with high mileage.

Thanks for the advice so far. Keep it comin'.
Out of warranty costs will eventually = $$$$

Great cars and nothing catastrophic tends to go wrong with them, just lots of little, annoying things that somehow cost a lot to fix.

I'd go with TL, I dig the hell out of those cars.

I LOVED my G35. Wonderful used car for the money.

'Uncle Gary' had a '09 Mazda 6 with the 3.7L V6/auto... that was a running SOB! It had 270hp/270tq and would outrun '05+ GTs with ease. His '11 GT is a little faster though.

But... it got shitty mileage and might be out of your $10k price range. He never had any problems with it. It is built in the Mustang factory and his was Kona Blue.

This isn't his, but it looks exactly the same. Interior was really nice.

IMO, the G-35 is the sexiest of the bunch but the Acura is probably the better bang for the buck.

Fusion, TL, or a speed 6.

I have been wanting one for about 3 years and finally got ours in June. I absolutely LOVE it! It's classy, sporty, has all the bells and whistles, gets pretty decent gas mileage, it's comfortable, reliable and I LOVE MY NAV!! I found mine and it was listed at $24,900. It's an 07 (I don't like the new body styles), with the tech package (Nav, bluetooth, 6-disc changer, etc.). It had right at 50k when I got it and they ended up giving it to me for right around $20k. If you look for an 05-06, you might get closer to mid-high teens, but I think it would be well worth it.

                      You wouldn't be disappointed!

I take back my Fiesta opinion...those fuckers are more expensive than I thought. $13000 version is stripped down

Really? I have two in the family at this minute. One with 168K (2005 V6) and one with 160K (1998 V6). Other than a bulletin back in '03 (the first year for the 5 speed auto) for an oiling mod in the tranny, I'm not aware of issues. Other than brakes and tires, I haven't touched either car.

I love my '04 TL. First FWD car I've ever owned but it's actually really nice to drive. Mine only had 30k on it but I did pay a good bit more than your $10k budget.

                              I love my G35! It's a '06 and I picked it up with 50k miles for $18.5k. I haven't had any issues so far...

Not a fan of the mazda's. I can send you a pic of the last mazda 6 I drove. Left it on the side of the highway in flames waiting on the fire department to put it out.
