I've driven through plenty of places where the highways are adjusted down to 45 or even 35mph miles outside of town so the police can generate some doe.

Back in '93, I got popped for 119 in a 65 along I-20 between Abilene and here. After he found out I was in the Air Force, he wrote the ticket for 89 in a 65 so that I would be able to take defensive driving.

And not nearly as bad, but do any of you "Silver Crew" guys/gals remember when 7 or 8 of us all got popped for going 98mph out to FFW one year?

We've got a road out here that is 45mph for no damn good reason, no houses or business on the road at all, 2 entrances into a neighborhood on one side and pasture on the other. So yea I've done 120+ in a 45.(past where the entrances to the neighborhoods are)

Depends on the state. There are roads around here that are posted 35mph that could easily be 55 in a state like TX or CA. Can't really make a judgement call not knowing the stretch of road, car driven and skill of driver (the latter being well understood). It's kind of like your "we don't know the whole story..." line.

You might try this trick like I just did.
