I would've turned it in as well. I've lost cash before, and it's a bad feeling. You never know; that person could be broke, and that few hundred bucks could be a huge loss! It's one thing if you find a 20 in a parking lot, but you know there's a good chance that the bank can locate the owner, when it's in an ATM. They just have to check their records for the last person that made a withdrawal.

I found a lady's wallet in the highway near a local businesses driveway, it had some @ $60 cash, a receipt, and other bits and pieces. There was something in there with a name but no id or anything like that. A buddy of mine recognized the name and after a little digging we figured out who the owner was. Turned out to be the local police chiefs step-daughter. She was pretty stoked about getting it back, she worked at DQ and I assume even at 60 bucks she was happy bout it.
And no I don't have pics of said girl and I promise you wouldn't want to see them.Comment
