worth the 39$ monthly pass? seems to be quick, i wonder if i can stream netflix on it though. I'm going to be traveling a lot over the next few months, trying to figure out if i should try justifying this as an expense or not.

It is fine for browsing boards, email and whatnot, I suspect that streaming movies would be a problem though.

I've tried to download a couple movies in flight before and could not get it to work.

Hm.. i'll check weather or not it works on our vpn, thats kind of a deal breaker.

Actually I do that all the time. I borrow my friends login, or share mine. I always post something on FB.

this shit is pretty cool, although netflix didn't work out too great. has definitely made the boredom of flying less painful.

I use it all the time when I travel.. the only bad part about is that it keeps me from being able to take a nap because I'm on the damn internet the whole flight haha

I can't sleep on planes without a strong sedative, so at least this way i'm able to do something instead of staring out the window wanting to strangle myself.

I used to be the same way. Getting there a little earlier than normal, and going for a couple drinks at the bar has the same effect for me. But I don't even do that anymore. Unless I'm with a group that wants to go drink. My flight to, and from NO two weeks ago, I slept both ways, and didn't have anything to drink.

That blows. If I want to I can be asleep before taxiing away from the terminal and sleep until the wheels touch down.


On the internet subject: I don't use it now, but I'm one round trip away from free inflight wi-fi on all SW flights. w00t. If our VPN works up there that would be pretty great.
