The last test just showed a jump in brain activity. Jeremy blinked when the doctors bandaged his eye showing that some reflex has returned. He also has a gag reflex and coughed in the last thirty minutes. The lord is hearing our pleas. There is hope.

It brings me great sorrow to inform everyone that at 7:30pm My Friend Jeremy Wilmans was released into the Lord's waiting arms. Several hundred people crowded every possible standing area and said their last goodbyes to him. He was only 16. He died with the cross necklace he had owned since he was a kid, tight in his hand. Jeremy's organs will be donated and he will save seven lives through his death. Nobody had any idea of the impact this kid had on anyone. Several THOUSAND people visited him in the hospital in only three days. After news of his death spread, a candlelight vigil was organized at the high school parking lot. With only thirty minutes of notice, over 300 people lit candles and spoke prayer up to him. While his Son was slowly dying, some bastard broke into Mr. Wilmans truck in the parking garage and stole well over $2000 in stereo equipment. Well it turns out, a complete stranger went to car toys and bought him over $4000 in stereo equipment to replace what had been taken. It's been a wild ride, and I'm having a lot of trouble making it through. I'm eternally greatful for everyone that has prayed and comforted me through this time.

Sorry to hear that. It's tough losing a friend, had a buddy drown two years ago. RIP to your friend. He's in good hands now.

Update: last night after Jeremy was pronounced dead ( brain dead) he was being prepped for the removal of his organs when suddenly his heart went into cardiac arrest. His organs are now unusable.
