$250.00 will not get you much. Do your home work on which one has the best "H" burner. The burner needs to be stainless and fairly thick material. I bought a cheap one flame grill and the "H" burner went out in less than 8 months. I would look at the Webers.

250 will....
1. Get you a nice charcoal grill.
2. If it has to be a gas grill, I'd get a standard painted grill. I've got one outside now for 5...6...7 years...can't remember. The key is too look for dings or whatever, sand and paint. I do that once a year and I'm good. 250 should get you in the price range for a nice grill.
3. At 250, you're going to be hurting I think for a good stainless. Maybe get HD card and do 0 percent interest for 6 months to get what you want instead or just settle for a grill that may need some maintenance every so often. It's not that a 250 dollar grill is a cheap grill, they'll function fine.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

I made a deal with a guy I know who had a new in the box Frigidaire stainless grill. This thing retailed for around $800. I traded two rifles for it and thought I got a screaming deal. 2 years later, the burners are rusted out and it needs a new assembly, freakin $200 part!

I spent $270 on a Stainless Char-Broil and it was the biggest piece of shit I've ever owned. Turns out Char-Broil moved all their manufacturing to China in 2004ish. I took great care of it, but it was a rust bucket in just over a year. It never cooked worth a shit and was basically $270 down the drain. I ended up dragging it to the curb and letting some Mexican haul it off on trash day.
I bit the bullet and bought a Weber Genesis, which is what I wish I had done in the first place. Cooks beautifully and after 2 years of ownership, still looks brand new on the outside. No rust whatsoever.
Save up your money and buy a nice grill. Just my $.02- Darrell

Get outta here with that crap!
I got my used Ducane(built by Weber) for $350 used off there.
It sold for $1,400 new and was one of the best investments that I have ever made.
It turned me into a GOOD cook!

Are you planning on using this gas grill as a flotation device?

I've had one very similar to this one for about 6 years and it's been great. Other than keeping it clean, the only thing I've had to do to it was replace the AA battery in the igniter this year. It heats fast, cooks well and doesn't use a lot of gas to do it.
