I don't think the leaflet would say if the anti-biotics were blacklisted or say those type of warnings, I still have them so I'll look.

I was swabbed, the infection looked like a cyst, that freaked the doc out. I had like 3 spots, one on my thigh where a piece of armor had nicked me, one in my armpit I guess from the skin getting rubbed raw from sweat and one on my forearm, I'm guessing from another cut. I'm guessing he prescribed the big gun antibiotics simply because of the amount of infection.Comment

Another side-effect, though not quite as negative, is the effect of anti-biotics on the gastrointestinal system. Atibiotics kill all bacteria, good and bad, and throw the balance out of whack. I was on a heavy antibiotice for 3 months after my wreck, and ended up with candida as a result.
I didn't lift at all for a good year later, so I fortunately didn't have to deal with any joint issues as described. Part due to the severity of the injury, but mostly due to my own conscious decision to let my body heal as much as possible before hitting it again. There was no mention of such side effects when I was prescribed though.Comment
