When I first joined the question was asked few and far between on how to get to know one another, because back then people knew that if you didn't physically go anywhere to see real life people then you're at a stand still.


I don't understand what has changed so much that people haven't figured out that we all got to know one another the old fashioned way. That's walking up to strangers, saying hi and introducing yourself. The conversations posted on the board is enough of a conversation topic that even those who know NO ONE personally... still have things in common to talk about.
