Especially when ex-establishment homers (like me) are looking at it as the only option to make any real difference. I would have laughed at myself several years back.

Ah...the continued erosion of our Civil Liberties. Well, nothing to see here. Heading to lunch.

Nah, there's alot of people in this nation that talk a big game but really the majority of American people including all the "hotheads" on this board are idealists and more docile than they want to believe. The next civil war if one occurs again will come from partisanship from within the military. There's no solid unified base of leadership for any such revolt against national power nor would any state or group of militias be able to resist the US Military without intervention by US military units. An insurgency without a true nationalistic cause would flutter our relatively quickly, as a consequence of the last decade of brush fire wars our upper echelon of military commanders have become the most educated and experienced fighters in small wars. But that's just my opinion, unless you see the military physically split itself over support I don't see any militaristic movement gaining steam.

Were they still justified going in?

I can see alot of lawsuits coming out of this.

Man, you are one sharp tack.

                2. Huge leap on your part. Rack your shit and life is fine. Expect others to clean up after you like a welfare recipient and you'll be called on it. Simple as that.

I guess you fall into the welfare recipient crowd.

It's not fucking reaching, it's very similar to what happened in Atlanta. Gma lives in a less than nice part of town and is 92, so it's safe to assume she's predisposed to paranoia about being robbed. The police got a no knock warrant, BUT someone along the chain of command fucked up and they raided the wrong house. Without announcing their ID and presence in the search for drug dealers at the WRONG HOUSE gma attempted to defend herself from unknown intruders. The cops shot her more than 30 times!!! There were no drugs because they raided the wrong fucking house and murdered an innocent woman. Shit happens in life sure, but this isn't fucking Iraq where casualties of war occasionally happen. If a no knock warrant is going to be issues the exigent circumstances better be fucking verified better than they currently are on average and you better not break into the wrong fucking house and kill and innocent woman.

                    • Some responses in this thread remind me of this. The federal gov't completely ignores that their powers are granted to them by the people and not the other way around. Sooner or later after distractions like american idol, kim kardashian, TMZ, and Justin Beiber have all gone away, after the economy has been strangled to death by gov't, America will rise off it's collective fat-ass and push back.

You make it sound like it's an ongoing, every day occurrance. I'm glad that where I work there are checks and balances to make sure this does not happen. A supervisor approves each warrant before it's taken to a magistrate/judge.

Do you know what is required in a warrant?

Do you know that supervisors can lie and be in cahoots as well?

It seems as if you've realized you lost this battle and are just trolling at this point.

Take a step back and read your own line of logic from a Citizen's point of view. Are you really going to sit there and tell me you don't see any problem with what you're saying?!?!
