Following somebody for selling crack and, in their confusion, kicking in the door of somebody else who happened to be smoking pot. (The pound of coke is a lucky bi-product of their error.)
I'm not about to second guess the way they do things in Kentucky, but it would appear that they were lucky in getting a large amount of coke off the street and a person in jail.

The law shouldn't be operating on luck as it's primary tool.

It's a metaphor - The right to unlawful search and seizure is the "helmet" and not having your door kicked by the cop with his fingers crossed that he'll find something is the "motorcycle accident".

I do have a problem with a cop ripping apart my car, while telling me not to watch. He sure as he'll didn't clean up the mess he made emptying the contents of every container I had into my car...backpack, glove box, etc. I had to stand on the side of the road freezing my ass off because some prick wanted to flex his power.
I had a pig drag us out of the car one night after 12hrs on the road coming home from FL. He felt that since we were heading into TX from FL that we were transporting drugs from Cuba. He kept telling me that since the bolts on my engine had been removed/replaced (I had done a cam swap and a shit ton of other stuff to it) that I was hiding drugs in my intake. I told him he was full of shit and his oinker buddies came along and pulled everything out of my trunk and set it on the decklid to dig though it. Scratched the shit out of my truck/roof and then threw everything back in the trunk and fucked with us some more.

The dumbasses passed over the gallon of white lightning in the jug and the three fingers we had in a backpack. But they sure were set on me having drugs in my intake. Kept threatening to take it to the yard and tear the engine down.

Come busting in my home uninvited and see how far that gets you.

That said, I will never give anyone any reason to even think that would be necessary.

                Irrelevancy at its best.

Saying you have the same chances of the cops kicking in your door is the same as getting in a motorcycle accident is ludicrous. If you believe that it is, you have a serious mental deficiency, or you are a drug supporter.

                Which is it?

And we all know the ends justify the means.

Of course they do. How else could we keep these FTP threads going?

We can do that easily as long as we have a Supreme Court full of morons.

Nobody said they had the same probability of occurrence.
